Start With the Sheriff’s Office
The current official route for a Lincoln County booking question is the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. The public county sources do not verify a searchable current roster, a same-day booking feed, or a current receiving jail outside the county. Call first when the question is about a person’s present location, transfer, or initial booking status. For a copy of a booking record or photograph, use the sheriff’s records form and ask the custodian to identify another holding agency if LCSO does not retain the responsive file.

Where Each Question Belongs
Use the destination that controls the record. A county booking, a court case, and state or federal custody are different records with different custodians.
- For a Lincoln County mugshot or booking record, use the county search and request path, then contact LCSO and name the person, date range, arresting agency if known, and case or incident number.
- For a public court case, arraignment, or disposition, use the Idaho iCourt Portal and the Lincoln County District Court.
- For a warrant question or public court-side warrant result, use the Warrant and Wanted Fugitives page, iCourt, and LCSO. Do not approach a person to test a warrant.
- For Idaho prison, probation, or parole status, search the Idaho Department of Correction Resident/Client Search. IDOC is not the county booking roster.
- For federal custody, use the BOP locator. For immigration custody, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator and its stated identity fields.
- For a custody or release notification, review the Idaho VINE information. VINE is an alert channel, not a public photo archive, and participation must be confirmed.
